suhsix Posted September 28, 2009 Share Posted September 28, 2009 Hello all, I've done a bit of searching and have yet to find a solution, although it appears others have and are experiencing the same issue. Just installed 10.5.7 using iATKOS v7 on my Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop with the x3100 integrated graphics card. After some customizing the install went fine. Once I get into OSX I can get the display to come on using the hot corners trick. However the display is "stretched" horizontally and I can only see about half of the screen. I've tried both included x3100 and x3100p kexts both with the exact same results. I'm at work right now otherwise I would post a screen shot. Any ideas? Dogcry1 Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 All the dell problems here,and the only issue i have right now is the wireless card does not work on my laptop.I installed iAKTOSv7 three days ago,and have done all the updating straight from Apple site!Everything works fine.No boot problems,no laggy screen movment,its working wonderfully!Wish the wireless worked,but ill live i assume.Im running a E1705 iNSPIRON,with a fairly old Nvidia 7900GS.If the are any ideas on the wireless,i would be happy though,thx all for the hard work.
