zimmoframe
Ok. This is getting frustrating. The only way I can boot into OSX is by plugging an external monitor. Any workarounds? Also, whats the status on Sigmatel 9200? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18932-monitor-trouble/ Share on other sites
DiaboliK
this will help for your external monitor woes Just wanted to show how i managed the dongle building... i didn't build a dongle, just two metal wire jumpers. Hope someone finds it useful. Bye. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18932-monitor-trouble/#findComment-124036 Share on other sites
sonicbuddha
If you're using a GMA 900 chipset, this is a known issue and I believe there are patches out there, some available on the patched ISOs that float around, most noteably the 10.4.6 jas image. I have a GMA 900 chipset and get around the problem by pressing the keyboard buttons that activate/deactivate the external monitor while booting. The laptop still thinks it has an external monitor attached but it comes up fine. There are a couple threads out there for people with the same problem, but, between the hack that DiaboliK posted, finding and trying the patch, and playing with the monitor activation/deactivation keys, I think those are your options. But, hey, give the forum search a try. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18932-monitor-trouble/#findComment-124073 Share on other sites
