itsafunkything
After a lot of effort I have managed to get a satisfactorily working OSX 10.5.6 desktop. I have couple of odd issues that I can live with but would like to sort out if there is a solution. Main one is that if my computer goes to sleep, it won't wake up again. Crashing everything. Also when I shutdown, the PC goes into a state where the monitor is off and it's still running. Then I have to manually switch it off using the power button. I have read that this is a common issue but I am not sure which patch to apply. My system is an Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz HT processor with Gigabyte 8IPE 1000 Pro 2 mother board. Could someone kindly guide me as to which patch that would be recommended? Thanks. Scottapotamas
A patch... A kext called OpenHaltRestart.kext should fix the shutdown, reboot issue... possibly sleep... I will try to upload here... it doesn;t seem to work... Follow the link in my signature to my guide and download the pack, its in there under the needed kexts folder... Or look it up on google...
