Hi all,

I recently purchased a new msi laptop and have been trying to get to osx to dual boot with Win Vista HP. The install itself works fine each time I try it. I've tried ideneb v1.3 10.5.4 and v1.4 10.5.6 and currently iPC OSx86 10.5.6. Anyways Ive searched the forums for an answer and none of the soloutions have resolved my problems.

When booting for the first time after the install I hang up at:

"Mac framework successfully initialized

Using 14417 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers"

All distros I've tried hand here.

I've tried cpus=1, -f, -x, -v, various kernel options, various video options... Tried installing OS with no additional drivers and still no joy...

This seems to be a pretty common error for msi laptops but, I cant seem to get around it with any of the fixes I've found on this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here is the laptop: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=120459227810 (scroll down for full specs).

If anyone has some more specific information on the

I cant find specs on it anywhere.

Thanks in advance.

I have a CR600 and I used Iatkos 1.7 to install. I selected the ACPI fixes, and it boots fine, has updated to 10.5.8 all with no problems
