sjorss
Hello all! I wanted to upgrade my Snow Leopard install to FakeSMC instead of Snow Leopard. So I thought: Remove DSMOS.kext and install FakeSMC.kext. So I did that. Unfortuatly when I restarted it still says: Waiting for DSMOS including all other functions. So, I thought, maybe it's because of the extra folder. But as I'm still using an old version (PC_EFI v9) I do not have an extra folder. I'm using: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3GHz (Stock speed) ASUS P5B 4 GB of ram (2GB is recognized) NVIDIA 7300GT 256MB Distru install: SnowOSX Universal installer (clean install) I Hope anyone can help me out as I also want to use FakeSMC. snackole
Run KextUtility. It will rebuild your Extensions.mkext. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/189185-problems-removing-dsmos/#findComment-1282304 Share on other sites
