whimsical1987
I followed the instructions from the this linkhttp://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.5.7/Portables#Inspiron_1545 I was able to install successfully, but this screwed my windows 7. I am unable to boot to windows 7. And even I am unable to see that partition in mac. Also I have a question. After the setup the personal information is being asked. Is it safe to give the information if we start for the first time. Please help me as quickly as possible. I have loads of files in windows 7. Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/189070-windows-doesnt-boot-after-installing-aitkos-v7/ Share on other sites
bmxfreakrider
I am not entirely sure that my reply will be utterly accurate, but it may help since windows 7 and vista were built on the same platform (like 98 and 2000) did you start from the iatkos dvd and run these commands? fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 flag 1 quit reboot ? it sounds just like you never re-initalized the disk as for the personal information, I am not sure how apple handles confidential informations so I just bs'd my way thru it except where it asked for my name for my user folder. I also use a cracked wifi network, and I am kinda edgy about my name being anywhere on my laptop cause I dont want hte owner of the network to go into the router and see my pc's name and find out that its me thats on his wifi. I didn't use the commands you mentioned above. Can you tell me how to run the commands so that I can boot windows 7 as early as possible. Also do you want me to remove the mac coz i think its a high risk to use a cracked version of mac in united states Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/189070-windows-doesnt-boot-after-installing-aitkos-v7/#findComment-1281642 Share on other sites
