Hi all

First of all, I'm a bit of a newb here but I hope to complete the quest for a good install of 106.

I have an HP 8510w, and I have run 10.5.6 before, with help of this forum.

I recently found that tutorial on lifehacker, http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow...acking-required, and want to try that method.

I have windows XP running now, and Snow Leopard should become my one and only OS. Since I have a laptop I can't use a second hard drive, which makes it not very easy I think.

So, there is this user here, Hex Hex, and he has made some drivers for 10.6. I basically want to try the USB stick method from lifehacker, and some of the files Hex Hex made for this type of laptop.

The drivers are here:

http://www.mediafire.com/hexhex

He has an DTSD file and also some drivers that solve issues on this laptop, so I know it is possible..

So, can anyone help me on how to adjust the USB method and make it work on my laptop, I don't really know how to start so hopefully someone can give me some advice

PS: I can borrow a macbook if I need to do special mac-only things, that's no problem
