graycells
Hi all, Finally got little taste of success. I changed my optical drive from IDE to SATA one, ( borrowed from a friend), I am able to install osx86. *) With iATKOS 7 and iATKOS 5i installation was successful but while booting osx, got stuck at "still waiting for root device". *) With kalyway 10.5.2 intel/amd both installation and boot is successful but i've got no sound and network. I came across this topic in the forum but don't know how to change the kext. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=130380 please, any help? graycells
Hi all, Finally successful in installing Mac OS X in my PC. Here is what I did. 1. In bios changed my hdd type from sata ide to sata raid. 2. Booted with iATKOS 7 dvd, installed osx with customized settings. a. Installed intel achi, and intel raid for hdd b. used intel gigabyte for lan c. installed voodo hda for sound d. installed others like, usb, ntfs-3g. 3. After installing, it booted up nicely without any problem. 4. For graphics used NVdarwin installer. (hw accel and qe enabled.) 5. In bios changed my hdd type back to sata ide. Now my both winxp x64 and mac osx 10.5.7 works beautifully. Thanks for everyone who helped and supported me.
