Endless Reboot after iATKOS v7 install unless 2nd core is disabled

I've been searching for a while on this topic and have not found any indication of anyone with this specific problem, so here goes...

I just installed iATKOS v7 on my Toshiba Satellite M115-S3144. I installed using the stock kernel and chamelion v2 boot loader, and everything works beautifully (well, other than wireless) except that, AFTER install (not before) I have to disable the second core via the bios or else I end up in an endless reboot cycle after Chamelion starts loading the system. I selected the DTDS option (well, it's selected by default) during install.

Any ideas on what is needed in order to be able to enable the second core? Any ideas as to what is causing the reboot? I can't see any of the system feedback in time to read anything.

Laptop specs are as follows:

  • Processor Intel Core 2 Duo T5200 / 1.6 GHz
  • FSB 533.0 MHz
  • Chipset type Mobile Intel 945GM Express
  • RAM 2.0 GB DDR2 SDRAM - PC2-4200
  • Graphics Intel GMA 950
  • Wireless NIC Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG

Thanks!
