feferefe ostia
Hi: Until yesterday, I had installed iATKOS 7 and Windows Vista on separate hard drives booting with chameleon RC2. Today I installed Windows 7 on the hard disk previously containing Vista. Now I can not boot Windows 7 with chameleon RC2. It says: Boot Manager lost or something like that, restart using C + A + D. I read that chameleon RC3 can boot W7, but to install it says you have to change the file /boot. I cant find that file. Anybody know why and how to fix it? Thanks, Feferefe Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/188900-please-help-windows-7-dont-boot-with-chameleon-rc2/ Share on other sites
diptenkrom
you may have to reinitialize chameleon somehow... like it is still looking for vista. i have done this on 2 harddrives and it is not all that hard, but i had win 7 on there first. installing to 1 drive proved more difficult. try reinstalling chameleon, unless there is a way to edit its config. i am not sure, don't know much about chameleon. but that is what you would have to do with windows boot loader or grub.
