Boot loader-132 black screen

Hi all,

 

I have successfully started the boot loader but when it gets to loading the retail disk, it starts and goes black. I understand that this may be due to incapability with generic kexts for graphic cards. How do I add my string for my card to correct this? And where?

 

I do have OSX86 tools if that will help me. This is how I got the string for my GeForce 6600 128.

I have 10.5.2 from Kalyway installed and working and would like to upgrade to 10.6.1 and be able to upgrade through software update from now on. I do not mind doing a clean install reformatting my drives. I have 1 SATA drive at 150gig and 1 Firewire drive at 1T.

 

Currently the Firewire drive is the drive that is formatted and partitioned with GUID. Can I wipe SATA drive and start fresh with 10.6.0 install?

 

This is fun and frustrating. It's AWESOME!!!!
