So I finally got OSX to work on my computer (10.5.7 this time) using iatkos v7. My only problems so far are my graphics card (lost cause I think due to my motherboard (asrock 4core dual sataII NOT r2.0 and 8800GTS 320), though if anyone knows different, I'd be very happy) only working in vesa mode with 14MB memory, and having to use cpus=1 (I have a core2 duo E4500).

as for the cpus=1 issue, someone noted in the 10.5.7 HCL that you can use a modified bios to solve the issue, but the BIOS updater/modifier does not work on my windows 7 64bit RC (run the exe as admin gives error saying it fails to find the exe (O.o) and run normally it says that the exe is not for this version of windows and says something about 32bit vs. 64bit windows). Therefore, I was wondering if using a patched DSDT (made with fassl's patcher) will fix this issue and let me run with both cores. If that won't do anything (as I suspect), does anyone know a solution? installing XP/vista-32bit/7-32bit to run the updater is not possible for me.

I should also say this is for 10.5.7, I know DSDT patches are to be used with 10.6, but I was thinking maybe they work on 10.5 too?
