n3wbi3
hey, I am trying to format a newly bought 1.5 TB HDD and it seems that Disk Utility does not want to create a partition bigger than 1.00 TB. when I type in 1.5 TB in the "Size" box in the "Partition" tab, it automatically reverts back to 1.00 TB. (I am running 10.6 with Chameleon 2 RC3). Can anybody help me ? Thanks for your help guys Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/188719-15-tb-partition-on-106/ Share on other sites

n3wbi3
I figured it out. I was using the "Format" tab, but when using the "Erase" tab it automatically creates a 1.5TB partition, that's perfect.
