moshem
Hi, I have leopard 10.5.8 installed on my HP dv6870 laptop I am trying to upgrade to SL, it launches well when started from within leopard, but because I have problems with non-GUID partition scheme I need to start it via boot. the problem is when I try to boot directly to the dvd, it stalls for a while and then I get the chameleon prompt - meaning boot failed on the DVD and the hard drive is now in charge. the DVD itself is fine, I used it to boot of a macbook pro... what could be the reason for that ? thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/188640-sl-original-dvd-wont-boot/ Share on other sites
