APMgZ
Hi! I was wondering if you can give me a hand with this since I can't resize my MacBook hard-disk on the space I partitioned for Windows before. I need more space on my hard-disk so I deleted the Windows partition using the Disk Utility and then resizing it but it gives me the next error "Partition Failed" Partition failed with the error. Filesystem verify or repair failed. It will work as another partition like Mac OS Extended (Journaled) but not resizing it. Any ideas? Thanks for your help! =) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/188533-partition-failed-to-resize-hd/ Share on other sites

Boot from an external disk, or partition, use iDefrag, or other utility to defrag your partition. Make sure to check for disk errors first. You can not repartition on-the-fly if your hard drive is severely or moderattley fragmented.
