daimason
hello... i've noticed ppl talking about their sound cards being either realtek, sigmatel, etc... how do i know what mine is? i know the basic steps to check the device manager... when i do that i get a tab for sound, video and game controllers... it says my sound device is IDT High definition Audio CODEC and the manufacturer is microsoft. i have even checked the vendor & device ID VEN_110D DEV_76B2 when i search the forum i find no post regarding a microsoft manufactured card... is there additional info im missin? if so how do i access it... i've even used PCWIZ to find out my hardware info. that says the audio device is RV620 (Radeon 34xx series) really unclear y my graphics card has anything to do with sound... plz help me out. ive tried patching sound using sigmatel HDA but that didnt work Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/188448-how-do-i-know-details-of-my-sound-card/ Share on other sites
