Samiam303
I have an Asus M2A-VM mobo I'm working on setting up OSX on but it's proving to be a pain -- I have everything except USB properly displaying as internal, and audio. The USB bug I guess I need to DSDT Patch to fix, but I don't know how to do it. Has anyone done DSDT patching on this board? The audio problems, I've read that you should use VoodooHDA or a set of legacy kexts... Neither has worked for me. I think the problem stems from the fact that most other boards have ALC883 as a six-plug audio setup, whereas the M2A-VM seems to have some weird stripped down version that only has three plugs. VoodooHDA gives me sound, but it's crackly, shows five interfaces even though I only have three, and won't let me adjust the volume without it resetting to 50%. Anyone have any advice?
