Nvidia GeForce 6100 nForce 405 (Integrated)

Audio: Realtek HD Audio

I've tried with iPC 10.5.6, and I'm currently downloading iDeneb 10.5.5... my problem is that I don't know well what kernel and drivers install when I customize the installation... would you help me with that, please?

Thanks, anyway =)

Help, please... I feel kinda ignored between all the replied posts xD

There is no ignorance on purpose. This is a free forum. Nobody is obliged to help in any case. So don't be angry about it.

First of all check BIOS:

  • ATA/IDE Mode : Native
  • Configure SATA as : AHCI
  • S.M.A.R.T. : Enabled

Voodoo kernel, stage XNU universal from kernels (the vanilla kernel won't work; use -v voodoo or -v stageXNU flag to boot it)

It is better to install a VGA drivers later, so chose non

AppleNForceATA nForce drivers from chipset drivers

ALC883 from Audio Drivers

LAN drivers need to be installed later (many options are possible so it is better to live it without any driver for now)

IntelCPUPMDisabler from Alternate Disablers

AppleSMBIOS-28 from AppleSMBIOS patch

EFIstudio, OSx86Tools, Pacifist, Perian, MKext Tool, NTFS 3-G + MacFUSE from Applications

Don't blame me if something goes wrong. It very intuitive suggestion - I do not guaranty it will work.

Hey, thank you very much... I already installed it, ethernet working fine... mounting .dmgs without a problem... i just need to install the video driver... any recommendation? Also, I don't know why, it fails doing/restoring backup image... this is prolly my last questions ^^U

For the first step try an EFI string. Use OSx86Tools to insert it to apple.com.Boot.plist.

If doesn't work, try CoreVidia (from older version to newer) or ATI init.

Also, I don't know why, it fails doing/restoring backup image...
Do you mean the Time Machine doesn't work? It is a common problem. I don't use the Time Machine. Search the forum for some info.
