LoneWaffle
The number pad will in fact work. You just have to be mindful that there is no "Numlock" in Mac OS X, so Apple keyboards don't sport this key. The key is still there, it's just labeled "Clear" and it's the top left most key on the number pad. When you are trying to type, if the number pad doesn't work in Windows, try pressing the "Clear" key once and then try typing again. Pressing this key will tell Windows to turn Number Lock on or off, but again, there is no light on the keyboard to indicate the status of Numlock because Mac's don't use Numlock.
