Snow Leopard; worth it?

Hi, looking for some advice.

 

I've currently got a perfectly stable Hackintosh running Leopard 10.5.8 and I'm considering whether installing SL is worth the problems which will arise for the first few months at least.

 

Spec:

ASRockP43D1600-Twins1394

ATI HD3650

Intel Dual Core E5200 2.5Ghz

 

I managed to install a few weeks back before running into problems with the ATI graphics. I am considering replacing the HD3650 with a 9500GT 1GB and am wondering whether a) This is a wise move and Whether the performance upgrade and user experience from SL will be worth the initial headaches?
