merve999
Hi there, I'm new to all this and just bought a MacBook Pro. I wanted to triple boot my Macbook so that I can use: Snow Leopard Vista XP At present I have Snow Leopard and used Bootcamp to install Vista on a separate partition. How would I go about installing XP now? Are there any step-by-step instructions on this? Thanks in advance, Ric Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/188147-triple-boot-question/ Share on other sites
mikecwest
you can use disk utility to repartition your hard drive. You might need to defragment your existing partiions to allow disk utility to do this (which by the way is very irritating, why can't it do it on the fly as needed.) After you install the third operating system on the new partition, you will need to install a third party bootloader like reFit if you want it to be easier.... merve999
OK... I don't know what to do. I have partitioned my hard drive and have to a partition for each OS. However, when I come to install XP, the partitions don't show up. Instead it just shows the whole hard drive and nothing else. Is it because they are in the wrong format? Thanks in advance.
