Kernel panic after Installation

Hi folks,

 

on my machine (intel core2duo e8400, 4gb, vista x86) i am dealing with a kernel panic of mac os x Tiger which happens right after the installation in a vmware-server 2.1 environment.

 

Installation was easy with teh superb howtos found at osx86 project sites.

 

however, it doesnt boot after installation.

 

i tried several boot parameters eg acpi=off cpus=1 -x -s -v but it always crashes with this information:

 

any hints on that? would be really appreciated as these are my first attempts with mac os X.
