Hello all. Been reading around the forum for awhile now, first time post. Ive posted at another forum but no response. I have an old toshiba laptop P4 2.4ghz HT, 1gb, 5200go that has been running Jas Tiger for awhile and want to run Leopard. I tried installing it, but it hanged on 1st boot up using -v -f command. Attached is a pic of my screen where it hangs, was thinking of typing it out but thought my fingers would fall off lol

 

 

Here are the options i used during install

 

kernal:

9.5.0 voodoo kernel

 

Video Drivers:

laptop display

nvinjectgo default (i have a 5200go)

 

Chipset Drivers:

LegacyappleintelpIIxata (i dont have sata)

 

Audio Drivers:

AC97 audio driver

 

ethernet:

pcgenrtl8139 (same model in windows a well)

 

USB Drivers:

Patched USB Drivers

 

Power Management:

PowerManagement Package

 

Fixes and Patches:

ACPI Fix

Seatbelt.kext 10.5.5

 

AppleSMBIOS Patch:

AppleSMBIOS ToH

 

Alternate Bootloaders:

Chameleon with SMBIOS/DSDT

 

Is there something else i need to add or lose? Thank u very much in advance, i appreciate it, Im at my wits end lol

While, I've never seen that error before (I have seen a lot, haha) do you get he error booting without -f? Also, try disabling the ethernet in the bios, some times problems can be solved that way.

 

hi and thanks for the reply :( yea i still get the same screen without -f and there is no option to disable ethernet in my bios (phoenixbios 4), guess im screwed lol
