Stuck on Language Select

I didnt find any other posts on this so I am hoping I can get an answer to my issue. I am using the http://lifehacker.com/5351485/how-to-build...start-to-finish install method

 

I had an issue with a kernel panic when i would boot off the thumb drive. I deleted the DSDT.ami like suggested in another thread, then it booted fine.

 

When I finally loaded to the Language select screen I can move my mouse pointer but I can not select a language and I couldn't click the next button, The Keyboard also does nothing.

 

I am running a p5k pro motherboard with a core 2 duo and an 8800 gt graphics card.

 

EDIT: I just randomly clicked with all my buttons on my mouse and it started working, now i gotta find out why my HDs aren't appearing.
