Wireless card (GN WIAG02) With Jas 10.4.6 Problem

Hello everyone,

I have just bought a brand new GN-WIAG02 mini-PCI card for my laptop after reading some reviews on this forum that it works. But after installing it, it is not detected by OSX 10.4.6 . It works on Windows and Linux.

 

My device id is 168c 0013

 

IO80211Family.kext is not loaded by default. Loading it in terminal doesn't give any problem, but it doesn't load the AirPortAtheros kext. If i try to load that in manually, I get this error :

I am a bit of a noob with kext loading, and am only trying stuff after reading it in this forum. Does anyone have any ideas ? Should I try downloading 10.4.5 ?
