Chris Lincoln
Hey all I have a ASROCK 775Dual915GL or whatever board it is, with the GMA900 video built on. I install the JaS 10.4.6 installation, with the Intel 10.4.6 combo update and the SSE3 processor. After the installation, I have no QE/CI support and the DVD player does not. Installing the GMA900 package from the disc installer, or using goodtime's patch, I end up with an unuseable display (drawing errors, artifacts, no text, etc). I've tried every possible messing around with the kext's I've seen on this board and I just cannot solve it. What can I do? If I am screwed for using my GMA900, is there some other video card I could buy that would support QE/CI and the DVD? cmstar
I am in the same boat. Have been and still am searching the forum, but everything is either goodtime's solution (which hasn't worked for me) or is for laptops. I have a Soltek 915GPro mobo. cmstar
Well, I feel like an idiot, but I solved my problem. Increasing the aperature size of the video card from 128 to 256 solved the problem. My card is recognized and I have QE and CI. DVD Player works etc..
