Hi all,

I have successfully installed iAtkos v7 on my acer aspire one,

I have everything i need(i think) all i want is some helpful information,

ok i am using mozilla firefox through a wireless internet connection a dell wireless that i got from ebay.

my internet seems slow compare to windows that i was using before is this a comman problem with a fix, or a better faster browser.

The second thing is sometimes windows dont fit my screen, like when i open system preferences it opens with the bottom of the window below the dock so that i can only partially see icons in the 'other' section this happens with most windows, is there a fix for this, i ma running 1024x1024 resolution.

The final thing is minor as i will get used to it if no fix, is there a way to make my browser cover the dock when open so that its kinda full screen, i dont want like F11 full screen with a limited menu just a bigger bit to read from.

Thanks

Probably a driver bug. Try adding Vendor/Device ID to the kext responsible for the wifi device you use. Don't ask me how to do that!!! Use forum search.

Most probably you don't have a proper VGA driver installed (or no VGA driver at all). What is written in About this Mac>More Info>Graphics and Display>Core Image? If it's Software or Quartz Extreme "not supported", then you don't have a proper VGA driver installed

System Preferences>Dock>Check the "Automatically hide and show the Dock" check box. This will hide the dock then it's not in use so letting you to maximize the application window.
