toolshed
I have an old MZ855 which has a Mobile Pentium 1.6GHz CPU, and, cough, an Intel Extreme 2 graphics chipset. Is there any hope for Tiger, or Leopard, on this slouch? All I'm needing is a basic system up and running (with audio) to play some simple educational games for my children. I'm usually the sort of person who will try things out for myself, but, as I've never installed OSX onto such an old machine, I'd appreciate any input on this one. Thanks ! vilpostus
I'd recommend installing Tiger. It's more likely to work. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/187226-osx-on-my-old-aopen-mz855-mobile-pentium/#findComment-1270451 Share on other sites

Worked perfectly. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/187226-osx-on-my-old-aopen-mz855-mobile-pentium/#findComment-1270995 Share on other sites
