I have followed this guide to the letter, and am getting the following error: panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff8006626a3): "CPU 1 has no HPET assigned to it" @/SourceCache/AppleIntelCPUPowermanagement/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement-90/pmThread.c:164 I am running: EVGA 750i SLI FTW motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo e6750 CPU Nvidia Geforce 9600 GSO GPU SATA everything, including DVD reader I have HPET enabled, and I really dont know what to do from here. Can anyone shed some light on this? I will post anything else that you might need, just give the word . I appreciate any and all help. What should I do now? The guides referenced by verdant above require that I install both Leopard and then Snow Leopard, which seems a bit intense, but maybe that's the only option. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who finds a solution! Thanks. See my Series 6 thread post #1 or my Series 7 thread post #1 depending on your MOBO's nForce chipset.......
