Nate Shoffner
I am new to this forum and this project in general. I have tried several releases of OSX86 Leopard with no luck. I am trying to install onto an AMD machine that has a SATA drive. The DVD loads and everything, but when I try to wipe out the partition on my SATA drive, I always get errors. Is this something to do with the fact that it is a SATA drive? As I said I am new to this. vilpostus
If you have Nforce or Jmicron SATA controller, then the problem is about the controller. Use a different distro that supports this controllers. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/186916-newbie-help/#findComment-1268533 Share on other sites
Nate Shoffner
I do have an extra 40GB IDE drive laying around along with an IDE to SATA Converter. I've tried using it before and it still didn't work. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/186916-newbie-help/#findComment-1269071 Share on other sites
