theproto Posted September 23, 2009 Share Posted September 23, 2009 I have it all rigged up for a go at it this weekend. 8GB RAM, Q6600, 2x 500 GB SATA II, Apple branded ATI 8600GT should make a nice setup again... I've had this gear for a year and a half but haven't got around to getting it up beyond 10.5.2 (When I turned it into VMWare ESXi host). So I think it should be a good time... I'll be using "Boot Think 2.3" as I do on my wife's and my own notebooks with great success. I go all out and modify the DST so even the naming of the bus components match up along with obtaining full visibility to the components. I don't image having too much of a problem with it, you never know what you'll run into though. Good luck on yours too!
