fdsjr
Hello, I recently installed iPC 10.5.6 Final on a custom built hackintosh. My main goal is to run World of Warcraft but I'm having a few issues getting this to happen. When I try to boot the game it goes to a black screen as if it were trying to load the initial cinematic then it pops up with an error. "World of Warcraft was unable to start 3d acceleration". I've tried several things to try and get this going, for instance, getting a new update for the latest Open GL drivers and that didn't work. I have enabled Quartz GL, that didn't do anything. I'm thinking that I need to add my video card into the EFI String at boot up but I have no idea how to do this... I have been using the OSx86 tools that came with iPC and that's how enabled Quartz and I believe that is what I use to insert the EFI String. Although I have had no luck in doing so. I have installed Chameleon to see if that helps. When I try to enter the EFI String it's saying this: "Apple Script Error /bin/sh: /Applications/OSx86: No such file or directory (127)" What do I need to do to get 3d acceleration running correctly? How do I get full use out of my video card? How do I insert a new EFI string into the boot to allow my video card to be used? Shadow_2k
I think I remember that there was an issue with OSX86tools regarding path depth or spaces. Try to move the program from its current position to your Applications folder and try again.
