Yes, with some effort... your onboard video card is likely not supported, so your options will be limited to regular PCI expansion cards since you have no PCIe or AGP slots. I belive sound and LAN should work out of the box, the celeron is probably going to be pretty slow, but it should be usable. I doubt you can do a retail install on something like that, but some of the distros might install without too much hassle.

Sorry, I would like to know if Tiger... or any other release from Mac would work in this desktop:

AMD Athlon64 x2 4000+

2GB RAM

Mobo MSI MS-7309 K9N6SGM-V

Nvidia GeForce 6100 nForce 405 (Integrated)

Audio: Realtek HD Audio

It's just that I hate Windows and I got this desktop from a friend...

Thanks, anyway =)

Yes it should work... You'll have to go the distro route. Your audio will need to be patched before it will work, and your onboard LAN will not work at all as far as I know.

Ok thanks,I use to have jas osx which was seemless for my hp,is there anything like that for my situation right now?In other words what distro would you recommend?

I've never used a distro, so I can't be much help to you there... just find a few and try them out. I decided to go the relatively hassle-free route and build a system i knew I could run a vanilla install. If you've got a couple hundred bucks laying around, that's the route i suggest going.

I chose Jas tiger and it work perfectly without needing to fix it.Is there any snow leopard distro?

Glad to hear it worked out. As far as I know, and I could be wrong, there are no distros for Snow Leopard yet. If you're feeling brave, you can try a retail install. Or just install regular Leopard onto the machine, and be done with it - as Tiger is getting quite old...

So, then... it would be my first hackintosh xD so... what distro would you recommend? Tiger or Leopard? about the LAN I really don't care... I connect it via USB and that's all xD... and about the audio patch... how's that? o.o
