Hello there, I have a Toshiba P105-S6197 and I am stuck at the checklist of hardware components. I do not know what to check. Is there a possibility of any of you guys help me on what I need to check off to get this thing working? I am using iPCs 10.5.6 final release. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay but this is as detail as I could find it

Voodoo kernel from kernels (useful in case the vanilla kernel won't work; use voodoo flag to boot it)

Intel GMA950 from Video drivers (though it is better to install a VGA drivers later)

Intel IChx SATA drivers from chipset drivers

Conexant HiDef Audio from Audio Drivers

Intel PRO100/VE from Ethernet Drivers

Intel PROSet/wireless 3945 from Wireless Drivers

IntelCPUPMDisabler from Alternate Disablers

AppleSMBIOS-28 from AppleSMBIOS patch

EFIstudio, OSx86Tools, Pacifist, Perian, MKext Tool, NTFS 3-G + MacFUSE from Applications

Don't blame me if something goes wrong. It very intuitive suggestion - I do not guaranty it will work.

For Keyboard&Trackpad use VoodooPS2.

For sound... Well a Conexant HiDef Audio driver should have gave you a sound... But it doesn't. If you did installed that driver and it doesn't work, there are several possible issues:

You have a different sound card (not the Conexant HiDef)

You should add the vendor/device ID of the on-board Conexant HiDef card to AzaliaAudio.kext

You may also try a different driver e.g. VoodooHDA

For the internet... See above.

My suggestions on Internet were based on a specification found via google (there were no data needed in the specification provided by you). It may not be the same as yours.

If you have OSx86Tools installed use the View PCI Device/Vendor ID and post the output back.
