kraen
So I'm currently on 10.6.1 with no larger issues. It's running very smooth. But I can't repair permissions. When I go into Disk Utility and try repairing it says "No valid packages". I've tried to copy the BSD.pkg in /Library/Receipts from a MacBook running 10.6.1 but with no luck. Any ideas how to solve that? The other issue is when I shut down the computer, the CPU fan keeps running and I have to hold the power button to turn it completely off. Any ideas on how to solve this? Nls79
it's very simple, just go to the installer --> optional software. It reinstalls some components, it worked for me Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/186499-couple-of-small-issues/#findComment-1268358 Share on other sites
