New to the hackintosh scene, I have a p6860-fx. Everything works with the exception of Wireless and apparently video.

I run osx86tools and it tells me that i have the proper video card - an 8800M GTS

"01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: nVidia Corporation GeForce 8800M GTS [10de:0609] (rev a2)"

Yet I still get video initialization errors when trying to play a DVD with DVD player or DIVx (just crashes). When I use VLC player - I get audio returned but no video (just a black screen). Is there a kext that I need to install for this to work?

Thanks in advance :thumbsup_anim:

Here is the info you requested. I notice it says 1024 VRAM when I have 512 GDDR3. Not sure if VRAM and GDDR3 are the same thing, I assume it just means video ram, Either way. Somethings obviously off.

NOTE: I have NVDarwin 1.2.5 installed.
