DNAGD007
Hi, recently I bought HP ProBook 4710s, 17" LED backlight display, 4 Gigs of RAM, 500 Gigs HDD, 2.0 GHz C2D processor, and equiped with ATI's HD4330 Graphic (PCI-e). Everithing works fine under OSX (Leo 10.5.2) except graphic card, works in a native resolution (1600x900) with "Graphic Mode" edited in com.apple.boot.plist. I have tried many solutions but non of them worked - no QE/CI support. I've even tried 48x0 installer, but no luck, after reboot only blue screen appears. Also when I install iAtkos 10.5.7 I can't boot, strange noisy grey and white artefacts appear on screen. Does anybody know how to fix it. I booted with -x with success, but after that I had no luck to boot system even with -x. I need help really badly, thanks in advance.
Yuriy Havryliv
I have QE/CI working on mine with 10.6.2 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...t&p=1331403 However, I can't get 1600x900x32 with QE/CI Have you tried this framebuffer http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=190586 probably it will allow to get native resolution. Do you have WIFI and Lan working on your 4710s?

As I can see your dell is the same machine as mine. Can you please send me files (kexts) you have installed on your machine: ATI kexts in S/L/E; IO802.11.kext & IONetworking.kext, and finaly audio kexts you have installed on. I have rached native resolution by inserting resolution into CHAMELEON 2 RC3 \Extra\Themes\Default\Theme.plist -but w/o QE/CI. Here is my file. theme.zip
