davethis
I am been doing some research and was wondering what components really matter when picking hardware, and what components do not matter, and I can get anything Here is the lists that I came up with Matters: Mother Board Video Card Network Card Does not matter: Hard drive memory (as long as it will work with the mother board) keyboard/mouse CD/DVD drive The only thing I am not to sure about is the CPU, can I get any processor? What about others like printers, and external drives? We have a HP wireless printer. HP does have drivers listed on there web site for the printer, so my guess is that it will work. Thanks!! Once I pick my hardware, I will post the spec to make sure it should work. As far as CPU goes, if you board supports it, you are good to go. Dyckyj
That's basically correct just make sure you get a sata (not IDE) hard drive and DVD/cd drive.
