risings0n Posted May 30, 2006 Share Posted May 30, 2006 I have this laptop (Amilo pi 1536) with the REALTEK ALC880 audio codec, which works using a hacked AppleAzaliaAudio.kext. However the sound output is on the headphones only, not the laptop speakers. I thried the audio and midi properties application but i only have 2 options for the front speaker channels. Any ideas anyone? I 'd also love to know if anyone had any success with ATI X1400. Also, can someone tell me if macos utilizes the ACPI and cpu scaling features of the core duos and how can i check it out? It would be so cool to have os x !!! Is it stable enough for serious work?
