Edkroket
I just bought this wireless USB-stick knowing it is compatible with Leopard. But now I'm running 99% Vanilla Snow Leopard and I can't get this thing working! Does anyone have a clue or workaround? Jib51
Do you know which chipset inside ? Atheros ? Ralink ? Broadcomm ? Do you run SL in 32 bits or 64 bits ? Yes I know it is Ralink and I looked at their site but all the drivers are 10.5 and none of them work I run SL in 64 Bit with Chameleon 2 RC3. I've tried to boot in 32 bit with at boot I use arch=i386 but it still boots in 64 bit. Jib51
I've never managed to get my ralink USB stick work under SL, either 32 or 64 bits. But I know other people got it work in 32 bits only. Are you sure that your "boot" file is chameleon and not EfI ? And be sure to write "arch=i386" and not "-arch=i386" (thus, don't put "-" before "arch"). I just wrote an email to the company who sold me this stick and asked if they have an other driver or workaround. I own it only a few days so I hope they can tell me what to do! If so I'll let you know! komodo-tux
Just wondering if you ever got this to work. I just picked up one of these, and downloaded the drivers from the Edimax web site, but they keep giving me an error during installation. If it gives you errors at install then there is something wrong with your system. I've installed many of them without any installation errors! Download this link Ralink website with the right driver and install this one. It works for at least when running SL in 32bit.
