ausfreestyle
I want to install Snow Leopard on my CF-30C3PAZBM. I need direction on this install. Please help.System is Intel core duo L2400 1.66GHZ, 4GB Ram. Thank you for any help! I have a CF-30 toughbook (30ACTQAZBM) and i am still working through it. biggest issue so far is wireless (intel 3945abg) and ethernet, other than that pretty much just vanilla install with chameleon 2rc3 upgraded from ipc osx86 10.5.6. Touchscreen works, as do pcmcia, pc express, and sd slots, once patched. make sure you turn off the wireless switch in the bios and install the ps2 keyboard and mouse option. also check your EC and bios versions. At this stage only do it if you have heaps of spare time and a spare drive caddy so you can just chuck your original drive back in to use your machine. Ihave put many hours of time into it, includiing swapping wireless cards etc, but the bios will only receognise the original intel version. I think the biggest issue is the bios. I have had it close to perfect a few times, but there is always something, and mostly its the wireless issues as the driver is not stable. If anyone else has any ideas or advice, i would really apreciate it.
