I want to get Snow Leopard on my laptop (name in title). One thing is though I can't seem to find a Snow Leopard install that would be able to fit on a standard DVD (4.38GB or less). My friend seemed to find one & it worked on his Toshiba laptop but when we tried it on mine it stalled past the initial load up. Anyone can link me to a copy of SL that I could install onto my laptop?

If anything I could use my old 30GB iPod as an external hard drive to install the Snow Leopard (?).

My laptop's specs are in my signature. Any further questions, ask away.

Thanks.

I now have a retail version of OS X 10.6 on my old 30GB iPod & used Disk Utility to essentially have it as a bootable disc. Where do I go from here? The guide I was using, said to try to install Chameleon onto the HD (iPod in this case) but it stalls while trying to do so. Any help?

Thanks.
