lilszero
I successfully instaled hackintosh using an iatkos v7 dvd. But even I try to boot, it won't. My PC restarts when I should see the Chameleon Bootloader. As I know, it is usually a graphic drivers issue, but I even I tryed to boot using the -x and -v commands, I get a restart. My computer's features: - Intel Core2Duo e6600 - P5W DH Deluxe - 80Gb IDE HD, configured as slave because that f******* pin is broken. - nVidia 7600GT Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad english. Laberlohe
Hi lilszero, When I got it right, you cannot see the Bootloader? From the few knowledge won by using iAktos v7 I would suggest a failure in CPU-management. Run install again, uncheck all points and just install "CPU=1"-fix. Alternatively it could also be an ACPI-error. E.g. Stock-bios could not run iAtkos install on my ASUS PQ5L-E --> immediately reboot. Needed a moded bios. Hope the points above are useful (and sorry for my english, too) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/185857-iatkos-v7-wont-boot/#findComment-1262823 Share on other sites
lilszero
Thank you for replying. I modifyed the Kernel version and some other details and know it works. Everything works fine except the Ethernet. I have a P5W DH Deluxe, which driver should I install? I already installed some Marvell drivers which come from iAtkos installation, but it doesn't work. I don't understand how to install that driver. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=15700 Thank you again. Laberlohe
Em... furtheron the topic is kext linked. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...00#entry1068918 I would try this kext (install via kexthelper/osx86tools, repair permissions and boot with flag '-f' to delete kext-cache). Good luck! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/185857-iatkos-v7-wont-boot/#findComment-1262991 Share on other sites

Good luck! Hi again. I can't make it work. I just copyed that file in /system/libraries/extensions, repaired permissions, and booted with -f flag but nothing happened. I also tryed using Kexthelper, but as I have no root password, I can't make it work (I also tryed setting a new root password but it doesn't work). Am I doing something wrong? Thank you again. Laberlohe
The rootpassword is the one you typed while creating your account... So you should know it? lilszero
System preferences --> system --> accounts --> change password (leave old pw just blank) Well, I created a rootpassword and now KextHelper seems to work because it owns root access, but it seems my hackintosh installation is corrupted or something because I tryed to install those drivers by three different ways and no one succeeded. I will try to reinstall iAtkos and try it again. Thank you for your help again.
