Try iDeneb 1.6 lite 10.5.8. Then go from there. If you have any issue booting disk to to the quad core use kernel flags

-v -F cpus=1 maxmem=4096 fsb=200000000 or fsb=400000000 but only type one fsb

when it comes to the fsb you have to research what your fsb is on the mobo. 200 or 400Mhz

cpus=2 may work as well but to be safe you can try cpus=1 first

Since you have Intel you may just be able to boot as normal but I don't know. Worst case scenario the dvd doesn't boot use what i stated above.
