lidrummer Posted September 11, 2009 Share Posted September 11, 2009 Basically, I have an Intel D945GCLF2 motherboard based system with a successful install of iPC 10.5.6 with everything working fine. I would like to "convert" it to a retail install (using one of the already published methods found in the forums) so that upgrades will be a no-brainer but would like to do this without destroying any of my user data (mail settings, email, bookmarks, iTunes library etc.) Does anyone know if it is possible to do a Retail Install (either Leopard or Snow Leopard) over an existing iPC 10.5.6 distribution install?
