theLane
Hi all, I bought a new D945GCLF2 (http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/motherboards/D945GCLF2-D945GCLF2D/D945GCLF2-D945GCLF2D-overview.htm) and built a machine specifically for this purpose. I tried iAktos and iDeneb. iAktos installs great, but when I reboot after the install I just get a blue screen with the swirly flower there in the centre. Any idea's as to how I can get this to boot successfully? Is there a MB and distro combo that just works.. kind of right out of the box? Thanks, theLane Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/185664-installing-osx-on-the-d945gclf2/ Share on other sites
theLane
It works!! I used the option -v -s and it locked up, but I saw an error reporting "2 cores required only 1 found" or something like that. So I then entered "cpus=1" at the boot option screen and it booted no problem. Network card works, sound works too. The PS2 keyboard did not but I plugged in a USB keyboard and everything is working fine. aviator01
Have you updated to 10.5.8 yet. It worked okay for me. I also have HT working using Vanilla from 10.5.6, sleep shutdown, restart, HT everything works. The only things not working are S-video, front audio/mic.
