Sezer
Hey OSx86'ers, I've installed 10.4.6 on an Intel (Northwood) OS X works well and I'm using the chain0 boot method, when I select OS X in the Darwin bootloader it says: "Errors encountered while starting computer pausing for 5 seconds" it then boots up fine, any ideas? 2 of the the errors relate to the mach_kernel with and a number 42302x0 OS X works very very well just wondered about these little errors! Many thanks! Sz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18558-errors-encountered/ Share on other sites
ernando
I'm second of this, I experience this pausing for 5 seconds, I suspect maybe after I installing SSE3 patches over SSE2 patches that already on my JaS 10.4.6 something wrong happened Can anybody figure this out ? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18558-errors-encountered/#findComment-143085 Share on other sites
macwindows
I am having same error. Updated the 10.4.7 with Jas Beta9 combo and using the exp5 kernel. After this error, the booting goes on, but the disk read write is crazy for a while and does not respond fast for any action. But after that the system is quite fast. Repaired the permission and did chown and chmod, but of no help. Any suggestion? Thanks.
