Alesis IO 26 Recording Interface HELP!

Hi all!

 

I love Logic Studio, so I've decided to load 10.6 on my custom built rig. The problem is that my recording interface (Alesis IO|26) is not being recognized.

 

Here are my specs:

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R

Intel Q6600 2.83GHz Core2Quad

8GB (4x2GB) G.Skill DDR21066

EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+

 

I've tested my IO|26 on my MacBook, and it works fine. When I plug it into my Hackintosh, all of the correct lights go on except the firewire light on the device. I've installed (and reinstalled) the driver, unplugged all other non-essential devices, and I've rebooted several times, all to no avail.

 

Any advice or recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated.
