The second boots good However, there is an error at boot that stops me from mounting my inbuilt SATA drive which i want to install onto: ATA disk checksum cookie invalid Please help me fix this error, I have searched the forums, google, everywhere but no solutions Thanks, Josh. srs5694 Posted September 9, 2009 Share Posted September 9, 2009 I've been (slowly) installing OSx86 in a QEMU emulator, and I see this same error message, but it doesn't seem to prevent the installer from writing to the emulated hard disk. Are you sure this is really the source of the problem? Try reading a few lines up in the error list. Perhaps there's another error that's really the culprit, and you just spotted something that sounds bad but isn't. OTOH, maybe this error sometimes prevents installation, but sometimes doesn't. beakybal4 Posted September 14, 2009 Author Share Posted September 14, 2009 in this instance, it did stop the installation, because all i had was SATA disks, However, i installed onto a 8GB SD card, using another computer then cloned it using Super Duper! to my SATA SSD then i install chameleon onto it, and voila! working Great Success! beakybal4. p.s. i used"iPC universal osx 10.5.6" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
