Kempston
I have managed to install iAtkos V7 10.5.7 on my HP Pavilion DV2000 and it seems to be working fine (or will when I change the Intel 3945 wireless card anyway). However, the Nvidia Go7200 GPU installed in these laptops run stupidly hot due to a bad design flaw which put them right next to the disk, to the point where it's possible they actually melt and render the laptop a brick. Now, I used to have Windows on this laptop so I know, from SpeedFan, that there is a sensor on the GPU but I can't for the life of me find any Mac compatible application that picks it up. They all pick up the CPU cores fine though. I was wondering if anyone was aware of a Mac app that will work? I have already tried 'atMonitor' and 'Temperature Monitor' with no luck. Cheers in advance. EDIT - Sorry, wrong section. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/185261-hp-dv2000-nvidia-go7200-temperature/ Share on other sites
